Prenatal Care
Prenatal Care
We schedule each prenatal visit for 30-60 minutes in the comfort of your home, accompanied by your chosen birth support. Visits occur at regular intervals throughout pregnancy, growing in frequency the closer we get to your due date. Each visit is tailored to your unique needs so we can best care for you and your baby. Education and truly informed consent are vitally important to midwifery care, so we take the time to answer your questions and help connect you with whatever community resources you need.

Labor & Delivery
We are on-call for your birth 24/7. Throughout your pregnancy we work together to build a vision for your birth. Desiring a water birth? We offer birth tub rental! When your baby’s birthday arrives, we provide physical and emotional support through labor and birth. Lauren and Kirsten’s years of working together have solidified their team approach to providing highly skilled and attentive care, without being overly intrusive. Your immediate postpartum care emphasizes family bonding and early breastfeeding initiation. Once early postpartum care is finished, and both you and baby have had a meal, we tuck you cozily into your favorite spot and take our leave.

Postpartum Support
We provide physical and emotional postpartum support for mother and baby through the first six weeks of your baby’s life. Your postpartum care begins with your 24 hour in-home postpartum follow-up, followed by in-home visits at two, four, and six weeks postpartum. We strive to provide attentive physical and emotional support in those early weeks postpartum, including screening for perinatal mood concerns. Successful infant feeding is so important to the well-being of both mother and baby, and we provide community referrals as needed.
"Birth is not only about making babies. Birth is about making mothers...strong, competent, capable mothers who trust themselves and know their inner strength."
— Barbara Katz Rothman
